“Before You Were Born” (Song by Pastor Sanbonmatsu)

We were honored to welcome Pastor Sanbonmatsu of Tokyo Antioch Church to our worship service on December 14, 2025.

Pastor Sanbonmatsu graduated from Sendai Baptist Theological Seminary and currently serves as a teacher at Yotsuya International School.

A member of IBF had been deeply moved by a performance of Pastor Sanbonmatsu’s music group, Gospel Seed, during a live street concert and requested that they also sing at IBF. They kindly fulfilled the request.

Pastor Sanbonmatsu is the leader of Gospel Seed. When he visited IBF, he explained how God’s amazing guidance was at work. When IBF members once visited a church in Detroit, his daughter had joined the trip.

We also realized there were divine connections at work: when our church visited a church in Detroit, his daughter participated in that event. His daughter and wife had also visited our church in the past.

We were pleased to introduce Pastor Sanbonmatsu’s son this time and experience the two of them singing a Christian song. The title of the song was “Before You Were Born.”
