We received word from our former missionary Steve Breithaupt early Sunday morning, June 15, 2025, that our previous missionary Otto Schaufele, who served with us in our church for 15 years, had passed away.
IBF members and I remember Otto’s precious work and give thanks to God. He loved many Japanese people as he served in church and as a hotel wedding pastor. We thank him from the bottom of our hearts.
We pray for God’s comfort and help for his family in the hope that we will see him again one day in heaven.
Thank you, Otto, and I hope to see you again someday in heaven.
